Nik Conklin Photo Art

When I started this photography adventure, Nik was the one teaching me, inspiring me, and encouraging me...and he still does. Sure, I had an interest in photography, but I didn't know a darn thing about it! He taught me everything from composure and lighting to how to use a camera manually. He came with me to many of my first shoots and walked me through the basics of editing. But this post is not about me or my photography, it's about Nik.

The following photos are ALL his and I just wanted to showcase them because he rarely posts them. I know this is silly, but I feel so proud of them! And most of all, I feel so lucky to have such a talented mentor (and a handsome one!). Clearly we have different styles and interests - his approach is artistic and mine, editorial. But there is no denying that he is the dreamer in our duo. Okay, I'm done bragging on my fiance, but have a look at them yourself!
